Circle of the Elements: Training of the Mind
At lunch, Josh ate alone. Auranna was nowhere to be seen, and Eric appeared not to have come back yet. Wondering about what Eric was doing, Josh continued to ponder on what missions Auranna and Eric spoke about before. If Auranna was training them for combat, they must be pretty dangerous. Josh still questioned his competence to do whatever Auranna may ask him to do, but something about Auranna assured him to trust her. After lunch, Josh made his way to the library, ascending the spiral stairs to the second floor. The library was empty, with Auranna not being there either. Josh sat down at one of the tables and decided to wait. After 10 minutes with Auranna not showing up, Josh got up to look around the library. Auranna had a very diverse collection, with subjects on art, mathematics, science, and history. He browsed the shelves until he found a book with a sun on the spine to the side of a corner bookshelf. He reached to take it out but found it was stuck. He pulled harder, thinking

After a peaceful yet curious slumber, Joshua headed downstairs to the training room. As he was unclipping the sapphire from his amulet, Eric came from behind. “You ready, mate?” he asked. Josh held the sapphire over the slot in the door as he said, “as I’ll ever be. Still not so sure about this.” “Give it a go. You’ll have the hang of it in no time.” “I hope so,” Josh said as the door clicked and opened. They proceeded down the stone hallway towards the training room. As they entered, Auranna sat cross-legged in the middle of the room wearing a white sleeveless gi with gold trim. “Ah, Eric, Joshua, welcome. Please have a seat opposite me,” Auranna said as she motioned to the area in front of her. As Eric and Josh sat down, Josh noticed that Eric was wearing a dark red gi with bright red trim. “I will give you your attire afterward, Joshua,” Auranna said. “For now, I want to go over a few things before we get started.” Joshua nodded. “First things first, training will start every

Circle of the Elements: Day One
After a nap, Josh went down for dinner, having the opportunity to meet the rest of Auranna’s family. The resident family consisted of Vincent, who happened to be her 19th great-grandson (that is to say, her descendant of 21 generations), his wife Claudia, and their children, their oldest son, their twin daughters, and their younger son. Josh was met with a similar greeting that he had experienced with Eric, with Vincent questioning about where Josh had come from to both Josh and Auranna, with Josh recounting events immediately before the accident and Auranna covering before Josh had woken up. “So, Auranna said that her descendants manage the island, what do you do?” Josh asked. “I am the Prime Minister of the island. My wife is chair of the school board. I believe my cousin is the mayor of the city,” Vince responded. “Wow, your family really does manage the island” “Before the accident, what did you do?” “I was a student at the University of British Colombia studying marine

Tom awoke with his eyes closed. He didn’t hear much, not the sounds of people rushing to him, nor the sounds of his car door being wrenched open. He didn’t feel like he was being grabbed or jostled about. He didn’t smell burning of any kind. No pain coursed through his body either from the impact or an explosion. Nothing hinting of an accident came to him. So, he must be dead right?
Tom opened his eyes and found himself in what looked like a bedroom, and laying quite comfortably in a poster bed with the covers on top of him. The room was almost dark apart from being lit by a few windows. From what he could see the r

Tom lived the relatively peaceful life of a student, living in the outskirts of North Vancouver and attending the University of British Colombia for their Marine Biology program at the Vancouver campus. Well...
Here goes my first Journal entry.
I have been with DA for at least a year now, but it is now that I'm new to posting on DA. Before, I had no reason to post on DA, so I kept to the "just reading/observing" status. As soon as I got well into Minecraft and started building projects on creative mode, I thought that I finally had a reason to post on DA. One of these projects was a large ship that I had under construction. now that it is finished, I might be silent for a while as far as art posts are concerned. If I decide to build something else, however, I might post Pictures of the final product on DA. But until then... don't expect an
